While our roots are in New England, we operate globally, maintaining a highly focused and accountable delivery model that cuts through the noise of modern digital execution.
2006: The Beginning
Our work began under the banner of designmarQ, providing hands-on design and digital support to early clients. Over the years, this execution-heavy approach naturally expanded into deeper business planning, research, platform development, and comprehensive systems thinking.
2019: The Platform Concept
The New England Connect platform concept was born. Initially envisioned as a regional directory, it quickly grew into a much broader community and discovery initiative, highlighting the need for scalable, well-structured digital systems.
2024: Structuring for Scale
The company officially legalized as a Massachusetts LLC to fully support the platform and our structured delivery methodology. As the platform matured, transactional elements introduced complex legal and operational realities. Rather than forcing high-liability components, we intentionally paused and re-scoped them.
This pivotal decision became the origin story of our studio's core philosophy: Structure First.
