General

What is New England Connect LLC?

New England Connect LLC (NE6) is a founder-led business structuring and digital execution studio. We help businesses, platforms, and product teams move from complexity into clear, realistically executable systems.

What kind of clients do you work with?

We primarily work with business clients that want structured approvals, clear documentation, and a realistic path from planning into delivery. In some cases, we may also work with individuals.

Are you an agency, freelancer, or consultancy?

NE6 is best understood as a founder-led professional services studio. Depending on the engagement, we may provide advisory support, implementation help, design and production support, documentation, technical execution, or coordinated delivery.

Do you work only in New England?

No. We are based in Massachusetts and work with clients in New England, across the United States, and internationally where permitted.

Services & Capabilities

What kinds of work does NE6 do?

We support a broad range of business and digital work, including strategy, planning, research, documentation, design, branding, web and WordPress work, custom development, integrations, automation, troubleshooting, maintenance, operational support, and certain print-related coordination.

Do you build websites?

Yes. NE6 supports websites, web applications, WordPress builds, theme work, plugin work, integrations, content structure, optimization, and related technical implementation.

Do you do WordPress work specifically?

Yes. WordPress is a core part of our service coverage, including configuration, administration, theme work, plugin development, troubleshooting, optimization, and implementation support.

Do you offer branding and creative work?

Yes. NE6 supports brand systems, visual design, creative assets, presentation materials, print-ready layouts, and related design/production support.

Do you offer strategy and planning, or only execution?

Both. Some clients need discovery, planning, research, documentation, and decision support. Others need implementation, builds, structured deliverables, or ongoing execution support.

Do you provide accessibility-related services?

NE6’s broader positioning and current site strategy include accessibility-related work and structured support pathways. Exact deliverables depend on the engagement scope, written approvals, and the service path selected.

How Work Is Structured

How do your engagement models work?

NE6 uses structured engagement models so the commercial posture matches the work. The main paths presented on the site are retainers, prepaid blocks, milestone/SOW projects, and postpaid hourly work.

What are retainers best for?

Retainers are best for ongoing support, planning, research, review, architectural thinking, and strategic clarity over time.

Are retainers meant for full execution work?

Generally, no. Retainers are primarily for pre-SOW support, advisory work, review, planning, and structured guidance rather than full production execution.

What are prepaid blocks best for?

Prepaid blocks are the main execution runway for planned implementation work. They are designed for real delivery work such as builds, automation, structured documentation, and ongoing execution tasks.

When does milestone / SOW work make sense?

Milestone or SOW work is the best fit when the scope, deliverables, checkpoints, and acceptance standards need to be clearly defined in writing.

When is postpaid hourly the right fit?

Postpaid hourly is best for intermittent needs, uncertain scope, or situations where maximum flexibility matters more than locking in a more structured engagement path.

Do you offer custom arrangements?

Sometimes. Non-standard arrangements are selective and only exist when explicitly agreed to in writing.

Pricing & Commercial Structure

How does pricing work?

NE6 pricing is shaped by the engagement model first, then by the constraints around the work. The main drivers are engagement model, AI deliverable tier, turnaround tier, and, where relevant, ownership or licensing posture.

Why isn’t pricing based on a simple service list?

Because NE6 does not price work as one service name equals one SKU. Pricing is based on the structure of the engagement, the delivery constraints, the level of verification required, and the scheduling or governance burden involved.

Do faster turnarounds cost more?

Yes. Faster turnaround increases scheduling pressure, changes priority posture, and may increase price if that speed is operationally feasible.

Are turnaround windows guaranteed?

No. Turnaround tiers are best-efforts only. Feasibility and timing depend on scope, queue, dependencies, client responsiveness, and operational availability.

AI, Review, and Delivery Standards

Does NE6 use AI?

Yes. AI-integrated workflows are part of NE6’s standard methodology unless the engagement is placed under limited-AI or no-AI constraints.

Does that mean deliverables are raw AI output?

No. NE6 applies human review and final delivery control. AI may assist parts of the workflow, but raw minimally reviewed AI output is not the default final deliverable standard.

Can I request limited-AI or no-AI work?

Yes. Where available and agreed in writing, deliverables can be scoped under more restrictive AI constraints.

Starting a Project

What is the best way to get started?

The clearest starting points are to use the site guidance to choose a model, purchase a retainer or prepaid hours when appropriate, or submit a written intake for projects that need deeper scope discussion.

Do I need a formal scope before work begins?

For defined deliverables or more structured projects, scope should be confirmed in writing and may require an SOW. Until scope, pricing, and deliverables are confirmed in writing, early discussions are non-binding.

When does billable work begin?

Billable work begins when substantive client-specific work begins, such as research, drafting, implementation, troubleshooting, production preparation, or other execution beyond high-level scoping.

Can I start with questions before committing?

Yes. Early fit and scoping conversations may happen before a full engagement is formalized, but billable work begins once NE6 starts substantive work for your specific situation.

Communication & Workflow

How do you prefer to communicate?

NE6 operates async-first. Written communication helps preserve clarity, scope control, approvals, and decision history.

Do you provide emergency support or break-fix IT?

No. NE6 does not provide emergency services, urgent-response coverage, or 24/7 break-fix support.

Scope, Vendors, and Delivery

Will the website promise every service listed in your inventory?

No. NE6 maintains broad service coverage, but the binding scope of any engagement is whatever is confirmed in the applicable SOW, invoice, and written communication records.

Do you work with outside specialists or vendors?

Yes. When appropriate, NE6 may coordinate with qualified specialists, subcontractors, vendors, and licensed third parties while remaining the contracting party unless otherwise agreed in writing.

How are third-party tools and vendors handled?

Some work depends on third-party services, platforms, APIs, print vendors, or hosting providers. Where third parties are involved, their own terms, limits, and performance realities still apply.

What happens when a deliverable is finished?

Deliverables are issued through official channels and reviewed against the written scope and acceptance criteria for the engagement.

Fit & Practical Questions

Who is NE6 a good fit for?

NE6 is a strong fit for teams that want structure, clarity, realistic scoping, strong written records, and a practical path from planning into delivery.

Who may not be a good fit?

NE6 is usually not the right fit for buyers looking for unmanaged rush work, vague verbal-only arrangements, emergency IT response, or loosely defined work with no written scope controls.

Why do clients choose NE6?

Clients typically choose NE6 for founder-led accountability, structured thinking, async-first operations, cross-disciplinary execution support, and a more disciplined path from idea to implementation.

What should I do next if I think we might be a fit?

Start with the route that best matches your situation: review the engagement models, purchase hours when you already know your path, or submit a written intake when the work needs deeper scoping.
